Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Downtown/Bayfront

We had an amazing stay at the Marriott Bayfront San Diego! From the moment we checked in, Josiah provided exceptional customer care — truly going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our room was incredibly comfortable, and the view was absolutely phenomenal. We spent a few hours at the rooftop lounge, enjoying a delicious dessert and the friendly, attentive staff while watching the sunset. Later in the evening, the team turned on the fire for us, creating the coziest atmosphere. The next morning, we loved the complimentary breakfast — everything was fresh and tasty. There are also so many great eateries within walking distance, which made exploring the area so easy. A true gem in San Diego — beautiful property, great location, and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back!

Enjoyed my 28 day stay. As with any included breakfast the repeating menu wears in you. The Sky&Harbor bar lounge was closed for private events for a number of days.

This is a stellar hotel. The location is excellent and the staff from the front desk to the breakfast room, to housekeeping and the bar do a great job and are welcoming. The pool is lovely, has a beautiful view and opens at 07:00. The outside bar is actually worth going to with good drinks and plenty of fire pits. We had a really enjoyable two weeks here.

We stayed her for 3 nights with 2 little girls (4 and 6). The hotel was good located, clean and big. The staff during breakfast where really great. The made the stay special!!

The location of this hotel is excellent. Walkable to almost anywhere. Staff was friendly. The pool area is great, with fantastic views. Only negative is the rooms need a refresh. Carpet is worn and stained. Everything else is great.

Overall good hotel, but housekeeping is the reason I do not rate it as excellent. Feces were found on the shower curtain and floor which weren't in the bathroom prior to Lupita, the housekeeper, cleaning the room. It was disgusting. Hussein, a lobby staff member, was helpful and quick to send someone to the room. We found the next housekeeper's hair everywhere in the bathroom but that was better than feces. All the common areas in the hotel were nice, and the hotel was conveniently located to airport, downtown, public transportation and local attractions.

Good location close to the airport and public transportation, Room was very clean, spacious, bed super confortable, bathroom clean and spacious. The free breakfast has good options and plenty of amenities. Overall great place.

Outstanding hotel, location on boardwalk, amenities etcetera. Great food, free water purified in the gym and the breakfast dining hall which is also free breakfast. First class massive breakfast for free. Clean facility, great pricing and awesome room views etc. This is the place to stay was great parking etcetera. Awesome.
